By creating an account and using KiwiHearts, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully — they explain your rights and responsibilities as a member of our community.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use KiwiHearts. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide about yourself is true and belongs to you.
2. Our community values
- Respect each other. Treat every member with kindness. Harassment, threats, hate speech and abuse of any kind are not tolerated.
- No body shaming. Never comment negatively on anyone's looks, body, weight or appearance.
- Privacy first. Keep other members' personal details, photos and conversations private — never share them outside KiwiHearts.
- Be genuine. Use real, recent photos of yourself and accurate profile information.
- Be thoughtful. A warm, respectful first message goes a long way.
3. Your account
- Each person may hold one account. Your phone number and email must be unique to you.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure.
- New profiles are reviewed by our team. Until approved, an account stays in a pending state and cannot use Discover.
4. Credits & purchases
Some features use credits. New members receive free credits once their profile is approved, and can earn more through daily activities or buy credit packs in the app. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and purchased credits are non-refundable once used, except where required by New Zealand consumer law.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Impersonating another person or creating fake or misleading profiles.
- Soliciting money, promoting commercial services, or spamming other members.
- Sharing unlawful, explicit, or harmful content.
- Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
6. Safety
Your safety matters. Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable using the in-app "Report a user" tool. Meet new connections in public places, tell someone you trust, and never send money to someone you have not met.
7. Suspension & removal
We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or put other members at risk. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent and removes your profile and data.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of KiwiHearts after an update means you accept the revised terms.
